		<description>The user part is likely your Linux box user (most likely &#039;dan&#039;). The external-hostname part is whatever you setup in the External Connection Setup section. So, if you got a dynamic host dans-server.dyndns.org, then you&#039;d use `dan@dans-server.dyndns.org`

Alternatively, you could just use an IP for the hostname part, from whatsmyip.org, but just beware that unless your ISP guarantees that you have a static IP, that&#039;s like to change (which is why a dynamic hostname with ddclient refreshing it is a better solution if you don&#039;t have a static IP).</description>

If you play the original without any improvement patches or texture packs, etc. it still looks ok, but we forgive it because of nostalgia and, more importantly, because immersion is always more important than polygons.

I agree though that it&#039;s nice to see the franchise at least make a solid step into the future... even if it wasn&#039;t perfect.

Also, yeah, I think it&#039;s pretty bogus to have DLC that actually takes place in the middle of the game we already bought. DLC is almost 100% bullshit and most of it should&#039;ve been included in the first place. Remember when games had things you could unlock, &lt;em&gt;and/or&lt;/em&gt; more than 10 hours of gameplay? This is why the indie scene is doing so well these days.</description>

		<description>Thanks, this was a really good review and it&#039;s pretty similar to how I feel about Deus Ex: HR. I played the original multiple times and it&#039;s one of (if not my singular) favorite game all time. A lot of the criticisms, such as about skills vs. augmentations (and being forced to choose a tree) made this game less fun. Same thing about the forced boss fights. 

I wanted to play more stealthy or less lethal, but found that using up my energy knocking out players (and constantly running out of energy and having to wait for it to regenerate) was annoying...would have preferred melee weapons as well (oh the prod...). 

It&#039;s funny because the graphics aren&#039;t all that much better than the original (went from PC to PS3), the AI isn&#039;t that greatly improved.....it&#039;s not a game that should have been released 10 years after the original, although I guess the original was just ahead of it&#039;s time. Regardless, it was a good step in the right direction. I wouldn&#039;t mind seeing more aspects of the first game worked into another potential sequel.


Also, do you find it annoying that they&#039;re going to release a downloadable content level where you&#039;re on the boat between China and Singapore? This feels like something that should have been a part of the original game and not an &#039;extra&#039; should you choose to pay. In any case it&#039;s a good game. I recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the original but have a hard time recommending it (or explaining it) to others who are used to more regular FPS like Call of Duty. It&#039;s really a unique game...which is why there are so many die-hard fans out there despite limited commercial success.</description>
